As of of May 2019, 1.5 billion monthly visitors are using Instagram to view and share photos, with 500 million using it in a daily basis. 71% of Instagram users around the globe are under the age of 35.All online audiences - especially the ones below 35 - are used ads and content poping up from everywhere. A busy instagram feed starts to look like an endless blur and have the opposite results of what you should expect.

Choose carefully the images and the accompanying text that goes along. Visitors and potenial customers have to be intrigued in order to dig further. SEO for SME's: What Google's Pigeon Update Means?

Google Pigeon UpdateGoogle updated their search engine algorithm back in July, including changes that would make a significant impact on search engine optimization marketers, especially those that work in local SEO. While Google didn't give a name to the update as it had with Panda and Penguin, the website Search Engine Land bestowed the name "Pigeon" to it because it was a significant change to the algorithm. They chose the name because of the update's focus on local SEO - pigeons always fly home.

The algorithm change will provide more relevant and accurate local search results that are more closely connected to traditional web search rankings. The update is not penalty-based.

Sandy's Aftermath - a different reason to grieve for.

smallbombSeven months ago a huge hurricane with the code-name Sandy, hit the North East US. Major states, including New York & New Jersey, were heavily impacted for many weeks afterwards. People lost their lives, their homes and businesses and until today thousands are still struggling to get back on their feet. What I will say through my article is the view of a tech-guy on the problems we faced on infrastructure, predictions, security and disaster recovery and common mistakes that even big businesses with branded supportcouldn't avoid.

Prepare for the worst - Hope for the best.

When it comes to prediction and preparedness for a natural catastrophe or a simple data-failure accident, the least you can expect from your I.T. guy is to protect your business’s and clients’ data.
